It happened far worse with Russian fans at the last Euro, they almost banned the team from playing any more matches. This wouldn't happen with a country like France. They've been in the Top 2 in six different major Tournaments in the past 20 years so it's nothing all that new and exciting in the same way for them. England have achieved that once, 52 years ago. They consistently disappoint. This one time where they've done well and have a genuine chance has naturally caused a vast amount of excitement around the whole country at a insignificant cost. Cars are wrecked every day in every country of the world for nothing. I see this And I know it's like that all over the country and I'm actually amazed by how it came at the result of a couple busted and dented cars. It's not like they ran at these cars with bats or pipes either, it was only even caused by dancing. Did they behave like that in Russia too though? Where was the trouble when they lost to Croatia last night or when they beat Spain? Bupkis!England fans in England behaved abominably after losing to Germany at Euro 96. And who can forget the last world cup? www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2658299/And-kicks-Rowdy-England-fans-streets-Roy-Hodgsons-men-defeated-game-World-Cup.htmlSadly Russia's press is NOT FREE. and Putin has BANNED ALL NEGATIVE PRESS against russian behaviour - So we do not know what the fck Russians have done as of yet.
All nations have bad fans - scotland is certainly no exeption.

Putin can't stop ANY of the thousands of foreign journalists and reporters writing about any trouble they encounter. That's nonce sense to suggest otherwise.

Well he does his best.
And why would international journalists be reporting on tiny isolated things that have surely happened like the 'ikea incident' in some unknown russian town?

And if you dont think the Ikea incident was by and large nothing - Read to Ikea's OFFICIAL statement on it.
--Replying on the IKEA UK’s Twitter account, a spokesperson said: “We are aware of a small group of fans celebrating the match result in one of our stores.
“Being both British and Swedish, we were on the edge of our seats during the game and we would like to sat ‘grattis! [Congratulations].”--

England has got very decent fans overall. Only their football fans are exception. Turkey is another country whose football fans often behave in a way that not many can appreciate.

Putin had little success stopping even Russian journalists (including his mouthpiece RT) reporting on the two incidents of terrorists mowing down people in their cars (in WC cities.)
Looked like terrorism to me anyway - especially the second one in Sochi the other day.

AJ, some of us support Rugby,Cricket and football. However there are many more Football fans.
We have some idiotic Rugby and Cricket fans as well so dont single them out, i have seen some insane rugby fans in my time from England and all nations. The difference is there are less of them in total which equals less idiots.

They're scum too. We're talking national team fans though. P.S. I think Sean Cox is still alive.

I was at a pub with a friend in London Bridge (this area) yesterday for the match so I walked past this crowd most likely, didnt see a car so I dont know when this specifically happened. Its just stupid though, I get it we won and you've alcohol in ya but dont vandalise for no reason ya mugs. There's never a good reason to vandalise. Just wait until England lose - the Orcs will cause carnage. So many turds in the UK. Look at the fans in other countries when they win - do we see scenes like that?! Do we fuck. Worst "fans" in the world. Montreal hockey fans have been known to burn a police car or three when the Habs win a home game deep into the Stanley Cup playoffs.

For those that think this is acceptable behavior, wherever it may occur, I wonder if you would say the same if it was you car or property that was vandalized. And the trashing of police or ambulance cars is even more stupid as it potentially could mean that somebody could not be helped, the ambulance could have been away on an lifesaving mission for example.

Doesn't really bother me, you're always going to get a mindless minority of cunts. What does bother me is the tendency of assholes to throw pints of beer when a goal goes in.

World Cup 2018: People rally to support "celebration" repair bill - After cars and property were damaged following England's 2-0 win over Sweden on Saturday, people are rallying round to help foot the repair bill. A Just Giving page has raised more than £2,000 for a Nottingham taxi driver who had his car wrecked after fans jumped on it, smashing the windscreen. Millwall fans are collecting for the London Ambulance Service after a car was damaged by people dancing on it. Nottinghamshire Police has asked fans to consider their actions on Wednesday. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-44763415The vandals still need to be caught and hanged though. Shouldn't be too difficult to catch them given those photographs.
