The hero's car rides into an area full of armed guards. The guards shoot up the car until it's completely disabled. A guard or guards look in the car and see it's empty and that the car was rigged to ride into the area unmanned.

the lethal weapon 3 scene is a callback to what riggs and roger did in lethal weapon 1 when they drove a police car through rogers living room window using a nightstick on the gas pedal.
