You have films like Son of Saul, The Pianist, and Schindler's List as some of the better regarding this topic. The Grey Zone is also one of the most depressing films ever made. I still haven't seen Shoah, though. Like my thread earlier about lame Vietnam films, what Holocaust centered films aren't very good? Maybe someday, we will finally see The Day the Clown Cried.

Lewis gave a copy of The Day the Clown Cried to the Library of Congress a few years ago with the stipulation that it not be shown until June 2024. The LoC has said it will one day show the film.

I thought Jakob the Liar was pretty good. I don't understand the hate it gets.
As for the question, I'd say Uwe Boll's Auschwitz would have to be up there.

The Devil's Arithmetic. It wasnt awful but just not that memorable. Didnt feel much for it.
