Because it wasn't a flop? 70 million budget tells me that they're expectations were just above middling. It grossed 3.5 times that. It was just a movie that dropped, grossed respectably without setting the world on fire, and then floated off into the ether having made little impact positive or negative.
What was ridiculous was certain cast members calling to sack all male critics after the film got mixed reviews. As for the Ocean's link: if you want to do an all female Ocean's movie maybe try to sign up, I dunno, Julia Roberts or Catherine Zeta Jones or someone who was actually connected to the Ocean franchise.
