I know Kevin Feige has suggested that Captain Marvel will become the new face of the MCU moving forward, but is that what everyone around here wants? Or should it go to another character like Spider-Man (their most inconic hero) or Black Panther (the hero who gave them their biggest solo breakout hit to date)?
Edit: I guess I’ll add Thor to the poll. I didn’t initially include him because he’s always been one of the top three heroes of the MCU anyway, in terms of prominence.

I think it should be Thor. After the events of Ragnarok (and IW) he has risen to become the favorite Avenger of a lot of people. He's also one of the more balanced individuals.
1. He is one of the founding members of the original Avengers, so we know he still holds some of their original values and goals.
2. He has a good amount of experience, both in fighting solo, fighting in a group and leading a group.
3. He has proven to be capable of self-sacrifice and making difficult choices.
4. He's one of the (if not the) most powerful MCU characters, which makes it easier to follow him.
5. He has a decent amount of humor, makes it easy for camaraderie.
6. Is not quite as egotistical or uptight as either BP or Dr. Strange, which are two of the most logical leaders after him.
7. Hemsworth (and the character of Thor) are now household names that are brand recognizable.
The only thing stopping him from being the perfect candidate is due to the fact that he has the responsibility of leading his people in a new world, who are now on the brink of extinction.

Me personally, Dr. Strange. I thought I had heard that was the plan. But it seems like they're going with Captain Marvel, which seems a bit weird to me. If they were smart they'd go with BP though. That's where the money's at. So the ol’ f*ck Dr Strange, marry Black Panther, kill Captain Marvel? 😂 |

Ideally, it should be Spider-Man but realistically, I'd probably go with either Thor or Black Panther.

Thor. I would’ve voted for Spidey but he hasn’t quite reached his peak yet (not even in Homecoming imo).

Captain Marvel.
Spider-Man is still too young, no way he's leading the charge of all these ppl. Black Panther probably needs to grow more personally aligned with the Avengers & whatever S.H.I.E.L.D. is nowadays.
Doctor Strange could be on that poll.

Spider Man would be the immediate reaction because of popularity but I don’t know how he’d fit himself into other stories easily. Iron Man works in that regard because of his billionaire persona and business interests. They allow him to believably appear pretty much anywhere but I don’t think a teenage superhero carries that same believability or leadership.
So maybe Captain Marvel or Black Panther.
