I'm remembering back to last season when Helen was dating Vik but seemed more interested in Noah's life and problems. She does seem annoyed by him this season. It seems to me RW wanted equal pay, and Showtime is just trying to cover their own ass in this woman empowerment era by saying Allison was done, but I done think she was done at all. Alison was hardly done. There was parity before with Helen-Noah and Alison-Cole. What are they going to do with Cole now that Alison is out of the picture? And as of the finale, Cole and Luisa are "done". I felt sorry for Luisa that it was made so plain she was Cole's poor second choice. Not even the prospect of getting her citizenship would keep them together now.

I guess they must have something planned for one more season, but it isn't too obvious to me.

He did a really good job playing the teacher of the deaf who tries to be in charge, but learns some lessons he never expected about the world of the deaf from the former student he has a relationship with.

I think she cares much more about being a mother to Joanie.
