Conte did well. 1 EPL title, 1 FA Cup in two seasons. He'll have been well compensated which is why some want to go to Stamford Bridge

I wish we could get one of these classy "here one year, gone the next year" Italian managers to come in and win us a PL trophy. Loved the guy, some of his lineups and decisions at the end of last season were weird though, its like he wanted to leave Romans boys outside the top 4

Disgraceful treatment from a disgraceful club.

I'd keep Giroud, maybe Fabregas.

In as many words, thank you very much and f*** off. No, wait, actually not a 'thank you' in sight. Okay, a bit of Conte self-sabotage in those last games, and that's unforgivable, but what drove him to undertake such abhorrent actions? Could it be the same things that pissed off Ranieri, Grant, Scolari, Di Matteo, Gullit, we don't know, we never know, it's always been the same, a secretive, cloak and dagger world of heavy curtains and closed doors. F*** off.

I'd keep Giroud, maybe Fabregas. Fabregas, Courtois, Willium, Pedro, Luiz, Bakayoko, all should go Jorginho, Rugani, Assencio or Cuadrado as wel as new attacking midfield.

Today : Willian likes Sarri : Willian says he and others are now playing football : Willian now does what the manager tells him : Baffling comments from a player who, quite rightly, won Chelsea Players' Player of the Year last season (albeit only because there were no other runners) Or maybe it's just personal. Either way - pipe down, buster, no need for it. TwatterLondon Rag Report

Chelsea have always been a weird, not-quite-there club, going back to the days of the King's Road Cowboys that included all the Jack-the-lad mob, Osgood, Venables, Cooke, Bridges, McCready, Hudson, Tambling, Bonetti, the Harris brothers and of course Tommy Doc. I sometimes went to the Bridge in the 60s, when Palace were managed by Malcolm Allison and Fulham had Johnny Haynes, Jimmy Hill, Bobby Robson, et al, known collectively as the Clapham Common mob. The Blues had some great players but couldn't win the league, a bit like the present day Spuds.
