I would open a restaurant, without it being vegetarian, but where there was MUCH more emphasis on vegetables. It would work that you order you protein of choice, whether it be meat of some variety, fish, seafood beans tofu or pulses etc in the quantity that you wanted, then there would be a smorgasbord of vegetable dishes and salads of all kinds especially those in season from which to chose to accent your meal. There would also be a huge variety of sauces, so that it becomes a make your own meal and ethnicity happening thing. e.g. If you order a large steak you might have a jacket potato a green or salad with gravy or Dianne sauce or mustard, or baked vegetables. If you order chicken you might have rice and Asian vegtables sweet and sour or different Asian sauces. You might order mince or chili and either make spaghetti Bolognese or Mexican. If you had fish you could have it Asian style, bechemel bΓ©arnaise etc etc etc. If you had pork you could have it with baked veges and apple sauce or gravy or add it to sweet and sour sauce or Thai salad greens etc. It would need to be a large restaurant for economies of scale butt need not be too expensive as the wait staff jobs would be light as it becomes serve yourself. Something for everyone and the antithesis to where you get a slab of protein you don't want and either a few wilted veges or worse a drizzle of some jus or some other nonsense. I am all for well cooked food with fresh ingredients and a balanced diet even if you are out to eat at a special event. nice! esp. the sauce idea--huge fan combos like that.

Hello, A business that does not go broke. And as they are all closing one after the other, here, I'll keep my dreams in my pockets. I would not want posh clients and the modest people can't afford dining or even lunch. Sad. Till later, T

It would be a vegan Indian restaurant, that doesn't do anything less hot than a madras or balti.
It would be in Ireland, I would call it 'Faith and Pakora'.

Phall curry are just as hot or even hotter than madras or balti.
My fav vege cuisine from India is "navratan Korma". But it is mild/sweet and not hot. Although in general I love hot foods.

Lovely to see you. It's been a while that I have seen you. I hope you start that famous beer thread that was a superhit on the old board. I don't remember if you were the OP but you and Nutsberry and Roto were the main contributors.

Hi, AJ. Oh, yes, we had a lot of fun with that thread, didn't we? I think it was the longest-running thread on that board. lol
I'm currently taking a break from beer (believe it or not!) because I don't need all those extra carbs going to my tummy. But I welcome anybody here wanting to post about a good beer they've tried recently.

Yeah that was the longest running thread on the old boards. I hope nutsberryfarm π starts that beer thread here. I am more of on occasional whiskey consumer so do not know much about beers.

Hello, I checked with friends who travel a lot, it looks the same about all around the globe. The middle classes dissapeared, and the class below never could afford it. Some of them might be actually currently feeding the fauna at the bottom of the Medditeranean Sea. Sorry. Till later, T

Probably homemade Jamaican food favorites like curry goat, rice and peas, and Jerry chicken. I would also serve Jamaican ice cream flavors like Kola Champagne and Grape Nut.

South-east Asian cuisine with hot kicks and spicy side-orders. We'd offer a variety of tasty foods from Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philipines, Thailand and Vietnam. Not serving all at once, but employing chefs who could change up the menu for new and exciting customer experiences. Lots of different drinks on the menu and colourful interior decor.

Sports bar. Big screen tvs everywhere, rotating draft beer list, and just really good bar food. Nothing crazy but bar food done right. Burgers, wings, brick oven bar pies, killer apps, etc. Fun place to go watch the games, grab a good beer or 2 and some fine food.

I don't remember reading the post about Garlic Crush, in Seattle. It goes on the list for the next visit to Seattle.
