OH MY GOD! Darth Vader is Luke's father! Jesus Christ! I don't believe it! What will Luke do! Will he join his father? Will he kill his father? This is an AMAZINGLY AMAZING cliffhanger!
And what about Han Solo?! Frozen in carbonite! Whaaaaaaat?! Oh man! Will Luke save him? Will Chewy save him? Will he ever get free of the vile clutches of the vllainous Jabba the Hutt?
And who is Jabba the Hutt?! I can't WAIT to see what he looks like! This mystery villain we've been building towards for three movies! I'm EXCITED about this! REALLY excited!
And the Emperor! Who IS this creepy dude?! I can't wait to see more of HIM!

Aaaaaaaand... Then there's The Last Jedi. No cliffhangers. No big unanswered questions or lingering story points. Nothing to care about. Nothing to anticipate. Just a mediocre trilogy without a single pre-planned story arc.
Will Rey defeat Kylo... ? Of course she will! But who cares anyway?! What else you got? Answer: nothing.

Any reason to look forward to this? I can't think of one. After "The Last Jedi", and Lucasfilm attacking the fans for valid criticism, it is now more fun to watch Star Wars movies fail than it is to watch Star Wars movies. |

I'm looking more forward to another side story. So far Rogue One and SOLO were better than the sequels. TFA was okay, TLJ sucked, IMHO.

I absolutely would, depending on the writer/director. It would be worth doing just to bring Danny Glover back as Lando. He nailed the role. |

Not really. The last two were basically repeats of the original trilogy.
I fully expect this one to be a repeat of the prequel trilogy.

They rehashed RotJ when he turned against Snoke and teamed up with Rey. But instead of turning towards redemption, he seized power instead. The door to his redemption has already been closed. |

I'd like to see: 1. Kylo's redemption. Living happily ever after with Rey. Maybe they even start a new Jedi school. 2. Luke alive and in full badass mode. No force ghost crap. 3. The introduction of a new villain or threat. Or maybe Snoke's not dead. Wonder if anything will come from the Darth Maul cameo? |

Literally the only thing that has me interested is Kylo Ren. I want to see how his character is handled in this final chapter, but that's it. Nothing else is intriguing to me.
