Charlie Chan and the Dagger of Life. Chan gets mixed up with a gang of thieves after a priceless Mesopotamian dagger that is supposed to grant eternal life to whoever is stabbed with it. Only the museum curator found with it in his back seems to be quite dead.. until the body disappears. With Sidney Toler.

Die Hard (1958)
As mentioned in another thread, Die Hard starring Cary Grant would have been an ace fifties movie. Just with a lot less swearing.
