No. I felt she was a Mary Sue character.

There's nothing not to like about Evangeline Lilly.

She wasn't the breathtaking beauty that Arwen was, and that actually made her more identifiable, more like the girl next door, an average sort, or at least an average sort with a great body.
As a character, that helped make her fit into the more ordinary trilogy. I'm not stepping out on a big limb when I say that the LOTR trilogy was a superb classic, and the Hobbit trilogy not in the same league. In comparison, the Hobbit really suffers, but on its own, if not compared to the LOTR classic of Jackson, it's actually a decent enough movie, though unworthy of trilogy status.
There's nothing wrong with the character of Tauriel. She works out pretty well. Most of us have read the book, so we knew her love affair would be tragic. The way it was done was a bit "crammed" in, which is weird considering it was a lengthy trilogy. But her character was one of the better things about the trilogy. The character of Radagast was also one of the better pieces of the trilogy. It's too bad that the rest of the characters were mediocre.

I quite liked her in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013), but felt that they did her character a disservice in The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (2014). I thought Evangeline Lilly was really good in the role, though.

Yes
I didn't like the romance angle which created an awkward ending.
If there had to be a romance, it should have focused on her and Legalos perhaps have him dealing with her death.

Yeah I liked her a lot in the second movie. But the third movie really emphasized that half assed love triangle that was so boring.

Of course. Would have been good if they gave her a bit more to do though.

She was great. The only problem was too much clothing.

She’s fine. The movies in general leave a lot to be desired tho. Could have been 2 films and been just as thrilling.

Didn't particularly like her, or dislike her. I thought the romance angle with she & Kili was a little much, would rather have seen Legolas having an awesome elf friend helping him break rules and orc skulls.
