Do you think the Emperor could have ever been defeated by Darth Vader in a lightsaber duel? No, since Palpatine defeated four Jedi in a duel and Vader couldn't defeat one (ROTS), AND Emperor just about killed Vader with only a moment of lightning (ROTJ). So no.
Also, if you count Clone Wars, and I do, Emperor beat the shit out of Darth Maul AND Sauvage, KILLING Sauvage.
