2 rentals. Was it worth it for both teams?

Terrible trade for the Raptors. This move doesn't make them better, and in fact makes them worse in the long run. Leonard is going to LA after next season, guaranteed. At least they had Derozan for another three years.
The Dodgers are a bottomless pit of cash that never amounts to championships so this is par for the course for them.

I don’t follow the Raptors closely enough to say if this makes them better, but there’s no way whatsoever that Kawhi stays in Canada beyond this season. So in the end, dumb move.
As for the Dodgers, I guess they have a shot, and Machado may love LA and want to stay. I’ll grade this one as an incomplete.
What do I know though, I’m a bitter Philadelphian. Go Eagles!

Haha, as if Kawhi wanted to go to Toronto as his first choice! But, then again, he will thrive in the pissweak East, so that’s a plus.

Waiting for Lakers-Raptors trade news. Kawhi does not want to play here.
Re. Manny, looks like LA gave up several strong young pieces. O's should fire Buck & his beer softball strategy of not succeeding at all whatsoever in Baltimore. Having said that, the Dodgers have to win very soon in the Kershaw prime window, cannot just sit around.

Don't know for long term but totally worth it for 2018-19 season. No disrespect for DeMar but it does seem he hasn't got him to take Raptors all the way. Kawhi is already a champion and brings that extra factor to Raptors that they have been missing so badly.
I am Rockets fan but I will mind to see Raptors to do well!
