"Gibbo" is Irish by the way.
Looking forward to seeing this absolute fraud out of the Premier League for good.

wtf is that all about?
and in this sense - as you rightly point out(maybe not sure what your point is unless you are calling it bollox) - if there is a generalised British style - Irish players are very much within that mould - so ok i understand that point...(even if its a point that doesn't exist today) . The best british(English) players today are about speed and closer control - they just need to up there final delivery.
But its overly generalised - maybe you could tag a British style - But nationality has fck all todo with the 'style' these days.
its like talking about a Spanish or german style - a Romanian may play more spainish than your average spainiard these days - or a pole like a german more than ozil. (most germans play very aggressively but maintain shape - ozil is more your assit king sitting in waiting for play to open up - and possibly a luxury player that the gunners can not afford any more)
its time to stop talking nonsense Moyes..ok i hate the PC nonsense - but he clearly meant a bruiser - a big lad getting stuck in over trying to run the play with passing. (that is NOT Rodwell!!)
Unless he believes (british) to be something else - Rodwell was very much brought up and tries to play a more continental style. Not that he is great at any style - ok Injuries and bad decisions has stunted him - I don't think anyone (outside of the coaches has a clue about how he plays today.

My point is that even when he's being xenophobic he can't even get that right.
