For when you're really thirsty.
As appealing as an ice cold pepsi with ice in a glass would sound, I think I'd have to go with H20.

Water (purified) is always a safe choice. but Gatorade(or the like) is even better if one is really dehydrated. because if your 'really thirsty' that means your already at least partially dehydrated. but if Gatorade is not a option then cold water is best as I am pretty sure doctors say that your body absorbs water faster when it's cold vs room temp.
so while I always try to have some water each day (I try to drink at least 8-16oz per day), when I eat food I almost always drink it with Mountain Dew or Coke (occasionally Dr Pepper(once in a great while I might go a little outside of those 2-3 drinks but I tend to stick with those 2-3 because I know I won't grow tired of them especially since I alternate between the two(or occasionally Dr Pepper in there to))) as those are my 'go to' drinks in the long term with food.
p.s. Pepsi takes like crap compared to Coke (I actually don't like Pepsi at all) as Pepsi is too sweet tasting where as Coke is just perfect. but I will say no one can come close to copying Mountain Dew's taste as people come closer to copying Coke than they do Mountain Dew and those two are the #1 sellers of their types of pop with Coke being the #1 seller straight up with Mountain Dew being #4 (behind Coke/Diet Coke/Pepsi).

I drink warm water first thing in the morning, thirsty or not. WHY warm?I find that warm - even hot - water helps with digestion. I especially like it during cold mornings as it kind of settles my stomach.

A shandy.
I find it more refreshing than a plain beer.

Ice cold water will always just do for me. Sometimes I could go for a soda or iced tea too.

Distilled water. I often put it in the freezer and drink it before it freezes solid.

Distilled water. I often put it in the freezer and drink it before it freezes solid. I want to find out the coldest temperature before water turns to ice, get water to that and drink it. Elsewhere, I drink sparkling water or Coke Zero/Diet Coke.
