You know I was thinking, it's sad that a Marvel/Disney director is held at a higher standard than the fucking President of the United States. True. Obama’s Syria policy was very destructive but Trump fixed that thankfully.

I called it. Now, the question is: Who will replace him and can he or she replicate James Gunn's style? Also, I'm curious how far did James go into developing the cosmic side of the MCU with Kevin Feige that was to start with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Anybody's guess is as good as the last and next one. Gunn completed his draft for GOTG Vol. 3 and was assigned to develop an outline of sorts for phase four's cosmic titles a year ago last I checked.

not if he wants a job, Disney fired Rosanne over racist jokes Roseanne was no longer a valuable commodity at that point. Her sitcom had some of the highest ratings for its premiere in recent memory, it was so huge that they even greenlit another season before the third episode even aired.

Obama’s Syria policy was very destructive but Trump fixed that thankfully. Oh I had no idea Obama was still president! Thank God! This Trump shit must have been a bad dream!

Looks like MCU Dictator Kevin Feige is going to have to cancel GotG3 and the Cosmic MCU. That's what he gets for hiring a pedophile.

How long before WB try to get James Gunn for one of their movies? We already know things like dignity, shame and self respect are completely foreign concepts to WB.

The ratings dropped a great deal by the end of the season. Anyway, Gunn’s our now, so I guess he was no longer valuable either.

Gunn has been fired, they can replace him with somebody else and carry on their business. And pedophile? Gunn made jokes about the subject matter among other things but that doesn't make him one himself.

Still weren't too bad though, show was still talked about a great deal and although Barr was fired the show is still coming back albeit retitled "The Connors" and focusing on the other characters.

Did he just make those jokes? They were from years ago. For what it’s worth, he actually apparently apologized for some of them before GotG was even released.

It shows Disney is not dependent on the filmmakers. Cogs in the wheel.
I bet he is a pedo though.

Would like to see Jordan Vogt-Roberts take a stab at it, he's shown to have strong visual sensibilities, is well versed in comedy, and has tackled epic scale storytelling before with Kong: Skull Island and his advert for Destiny 2. Downside is that he is locked into doing the Metal Gear Solid movie which who knows when or if it will ever get made.
Tim Miller would be great, no stranger to Marvel.
Would be interested if Jennifer Yuh Nelson was hired for the job, she has a background in art department, effects and animation and a diverse filmography having directed the last two Kung Fu Panda movies, episodes for HBO's short lived but acclaimed Spawn animated series, as well as the YA novel adaptation The Darkest Minds which opens up soon.
