Its a bit mad isnt it? Was looking on SSN earlier and he was a Silva signing at Watford too and the last goal he scored was in November and he scored 5 and 5 assists last season. What happens if Silva goes in 6 months time, is this guy still worth 50m? If I was the guys upstairs I'd say no and spend a bit of that 50m trying to sign up some of these scouts that Monaco have.

One of the things Everton have sort of praised for particularly under Moyes being wise with money and creating a decent team on a relatively low budget. 50 mill I'd hope to bring in 3 players. Everton spending 50 mill on one player makes my blood run cold. Anyhoo, we have nothing to worry about. We won 22 nil in preseason so that just about guarantees us the EPL title. So save the 50 mill for the end of season victory piss up. |
