.........Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash and Cyborg in the movie? In that case why isnt every team in every solo characters movie? Its a stupid question. We all know this happens. Its just the way it is.
In real life it would be different, but these are movies, and you know just as well as we all do that all the Avengers don't show up in every MCU solo characters movie. Duh.
Why the double standard question for DCEU?

Not so much a double standard as it is a petty response for this getting brought up a lot with the MCU films, goes to show as I have said many times both sides in this argument are just as bad as one another.

It would only be a double standard if I didn't have a problem with it happening in other movies.
I assume that you must agree it is incredibly dumb as you chose not to answer the question.

Actually I think it's a good question. If it takes place afterwards...then where the hell are they? And that brings up more questions for me about the DCEU timeline too.
Why didn't Batman or Wonder Woman try to help defeat Zod in Man of Steel?
Why didn't anyone know about Wonder Woman if this upcoming movie takes place in the 80's? I can buy a movie that took place in WW1 and she went off on her own into hiding...but the 80's? People should have known about her.
I love the DCEU...but in rushing things into a group movie (JL) they really screwed around with their timelines and kind of messed things up.

Batman was retired and given his companies tech resources may have been locked in talks with the military about providing them with more state of the art artillery to fight the Kryptonians before getting on his chopper getting back into town just in time for Superman Vs Zod, no clue if he had any gear or tech handy to get involved though at that point.
Wonder Woman could have been anywhere in the world, I mean if she's kept the same job for an extended period of time she had in WW then she was in Europe most likely.
I do agree though DC did kind of mess up the timeline because how does Clark not know about Batman in BVS? like the movie didn't even justify it as though Clark didn't believe the Batman of now could be the Batman from 10-20 years ago, also the WW stuff is still screwy movie to movie, Cyborg was seen being made in BVS but claims it happens after superman dies.
TBH where are the JL in Aquaman isn't a big question and easily explained by 2 things 1: whose to say Aquaman being the bro and bad ass his is would ask for help in fixing his peoples enternal politics, 2: We don't see a full fledged invasion by Atlanteans, what appears to be such looks more like small strikes aimed at Aquaman himself, this wouldn't require a team roll out, and also as I have said before in case of a major invasion only Flash & Superman are inexcusable for not showing up, super speed and all, Batman could take hours to get there same with Cyborg given their access/ability to fly or planes, Diana funnily enough could take a lot longer if she gets held up by TSA, I mean how do you explain the sword?

There wasn’t anything he could’ve done at the time, since he obviously never dealt with something like that before.

But at the core shared superhero universes are a silly concept as you have to explain the Fermi paradoxon (where is everybody?) in every movie, or not. The planning will always be flawed, I know of no Shared Universe without ample of canon issues and flaws. Take the hot mess of the MCU which allegedly was well planned: You got blatant timeline issues, trilogies becoming entirely messed up in narrative structure and tone, or even the über- villain changes looks, color and character per movie.

I don't mind if other heroes don't show up in a hero's solo movie because that's how the comics are too. But what I don't like is when they try to shoehorn in a cameo that doesn't make any sense. For example, in Ant-Man, Scott Lang just got released from prison and said he wants to be a good father to his little girl and make his little proud of her ex-con Dad. Then in Civil War, he leaves his little girl behind and travels thousands of miles to another country to aid and abet a wanted criminal to flee from the law and gets his ass thrown in jail again. Way to make the daughter proud! That Ant-Man cameo in Civil War made no sense at all. Same with the Spider-Boy cameo in Civil War. If Tony Stark needed some super-help to bring in Bucky and Cap, why not just recruit Luke Cage, who is bullet-proof, has super-strength, and is an adult. Why spy on a high school kid like a creepy pedophile (i.e. like a James Gunn) would do and then kidnap that high school kid and transport him out of the country to fight against super-powered humans? That Spider-Bo cameo in Civil War also made no sense at all. Then again, the entire plot of Civil War didn't make any sense at all. So the Russos probably figured that no one would question a bunch of nonsense cameos in a movie with a nonsense plot anyway.

Why didn't Batman or Wonder Woman try to help defeat Zod in Man of Steel? Because there wasn't much Batman could do against a bunch of super-powered Kryptonians. And because the battle was in Metropolis and Diana lives and works in Paris. The 2 cities are separated by thousands of miles and about a 15-hour flight. And with the Kryptonians attacking Metropolis, TS probably shut down all flights in and out of Metropolis airport anyway.

Also as per usual you are just idiotic in your description of the events of the film.
First in Ant Man Scott's daughter doesn't care about the law she cares about why her dad is doing what he does, she believes in him, now Cap is THE hero to the MCU's in universe characters, a war hero, worlds first super hero, the man who led the charge to defeat Hydra, politicians and LEO's may condemn his actions but the regular people wont, so by teaming with Cap Scott is clearly going to look like the hero to his daughter, kids don't care about the law they care about "right" and "wrong" Cap seems like he's right, and to a point he is, all Scott would need to say is Cap asked him to help him so he could prove his friends innocence, a child especially one who loves their father like Scott's daughter does wont hold that against her father, and I doubt ANY of the Avengers thought things would turn out as they did.
As for Spidey for the love of god man you have been told this 100 times Tony DID NOT CREEP ON A TEEN, also paedophile is the wrong terms to use that's for prepubescent children not teens the term for that is Ephebophilia, and anyway Tony investigated who the Spider-Man was and he found out it was Peter that's not creepy behaviour that's talent scouting, as for why he took Peter he did so not expecting things to escalate as they did, also age aside Peter was the perfect choice to recruit, someone with superior physical abilities to Cap in all areas who is in complete control of their faculties and who Tony could easily presume Cap would go easy on because of Peter's youth, also Peter's job was to contain and disarm Cap, which is what he did straight away only Cap was aware of it and prepared, which suggest Cap also knew of Spidey so Tony likely informed Cap of Peter at some point and Cap's actions take a more sinister look if he knew Spidey was just a kid, Tony afterall freaks out and bench's Peter when Peter gets a black eye, Cap drops airplane shit on him...Caps a dick.
Now shut up you spacky twat.
