An American Werewolf in London The Howling Ginger Snaps Dog Soldiers
I also love the 2010 Wolfman remake. The hate and poor reviews always baffled me. It's not a classic, but it's got old-fashioned sets and atmosphere, good performances by the leads and a great climax.

I found the wolfman remake pretty unwatchable and ended up switching it off half way through, im with the critics on that one

TBH i never really think of it as a werewolf film though i... I left Wolfen off too, cos its not a werewolf film at all but I guess an argument could be made for company of wolves for sure

The Company of Wolves is number 1 for me too, but after that…
I enjoyed The Wolf Man ’41 and its remake, but I think knock-off The Undying Monster is even better.

...it is a toss up between "The Werewolf of London" and "Curse of the Werewolf" w/Oliver Reed - this one had the most terrifying portrayal of a werewolf...
