It exists. I've seen it. I felt it. I even wrote a poem about it. This is my testimony. Hell is absolutely real. If you don't want to believe it, that's cool. You're welcome to find out for yourself if it's real or just bullshit. And if it was the Devil trying to scare me, it worked. It worked so well that I'll never become a Jehovah's Witness and go around telling people that Hell is just a myth. What were you in Hell for? Nothing. I just kind of stumbled in.

Ask Him. I'm not the one in charge. It is what it is, and I deal with it the way it is, not the way I would like it to be. There's nothing in Western Christian belief that supports the notion that god originally created 'toxic waste' or 'garbage' as far as humanity is concerned. And though I find much of the bible to be codified nonsense, there's nothing in it that supports this idea either. Western Christian belief may take a dim view of humanity in its' fallen state, but it maintains that man fell from god's grace, not that god created man as waste or garbage to begin with.
Asking 'Him' wouldn't get you much of anyplace other than what your bible, allegedly god's inerrant word, already tells you; and it doesn't tell you that mankind was created as trash, but created supposedly as a vessel for god's spirit--which isn't too compatible with your notion that there are beings created by him for the express purpose of fueling a burning pit.
Man, I've noticed that when it comes to devaluing human life, and loathing one's fellow beings, the average self-professed 'Christian' often has it all over even the most cynical atheist!
It is what it is, and I deal with it the way it is, not the way I would like it to be.

There is no afterlife. Therefore, the only existing Hells are places called that. Michigan, Norway, Hell's Kitchen, Hölle in Germany...

It is what it is, and I deal with it the way it is, not the way I would like it to be. If you claim to be a Christian, then that isn't 'what it is', it's what the inerrant book you claim to follow says. Typical Christian, trying to have it both ways--God's rules plus his own.

You're not someone to be taking lessons from on what the Bible says. Anyone can read it. I simply testified as to what I saw. Hell exists, no matter what name you call it. And the Bible says it exists. Some think a soul doesn't necessarily stay there for eternity. I don't know about that, so I don't say. A word of advice here. When you make sweeping statements like this to someone you've only just met..... …..it detracts from your credibility as someone who is willing to listen and discuss with an open mind. When I started on the RFS board five years ago it was crawling with posters who did just that, and they're mostly gone now, because they're predictable one-trick ponies.

What were you in Hell for? Nothing. I just kind of stumbled in. One view of Hell is the absence of God's love. I usually try not to let my mind wander off to dark places. It makes life more pleasant.

My path has been very different from yours, but I'm not complaining. Tolstoy was fifty when he wrote these words, and coincidentally (perhaps) I was fifty when I discovered them:

When you encounter someone like that, perhaps the best thing for you to do is move on, enjoy your life, and find someone who doesn't bore you.

That doesn't mean I can't still find your fixation boring .
