They ride giant seahorses! Just like in the Saturday morning cartoon!

This what will make or break the movie with audiences. It's clearly going all in on the absurdity of the premise itself.

I liked the shot of Black Manta and Arthur on land- when he's firing the laser beams.
Everything on land looks great (visually) while everything underwater looked too CGIish.

I gotta say...I like the part where he jumps out of that plane with no parachute. How the hell are they gonna survive that? I mean it has me wanting to see that scene completely.

There were several good moments:
When Arthur sees Atlantis
When Arthur is being bullied and calms the great white shark at the aquarium
When Arthur lifts a submarine onto the surface
When Arthur and Mera jump out of the plane with no parachute

Apparently Atlanteans are close to Kryptonians in strength. I guess that's including invulnerability. Their bodies have evolved to deal with the crushing depths of the deep sea, so they have more dense musculature and skeletons. That ends up giving them superhuman levels of strength, resilience and power. They aren't close to Kryptonians, a bullet will hit them and glance off, but would still draw blood.

It just seems so overdone at this point, and there have been people saying that the shark looks silly.
