I thought it was kind of boring. Not enough blood or shark. But Ann Dusenberry was smokin' hot. Who did She Play in the Movie ? |

I think Roy Scheider and Murray Hamilton still give decent performances, even if they largely are rehashing a lot from the first. I think the last third of the movie involving the teens stranded on the boats has some nice tension and suspence. But yeah, the movie has a LOT of problems otherwise.

It's okay. The boat scene where the shark earns its facial scar is intense. And the scene where Chief Brody loses it and starts firing rounds on a crowded beach is directed well.

As sequels go, it's OK. I'm not a fan of the stranded teens storyline, but not sure what else they could do to differentiate it from the first movie when it's basically a rerun.

No, but she is a good reason to watch it.
I like Jaws 2. It's mostly a rehash of the film. You cannot help but miss Dreyfuss and Shaw but Scheider does a nice job.
And I like the shark scenes in this film. I think they are exceedingly well done. The water skier attack is first-rate.

She should have had more of a career. Good actress-charismatic too. They way she said:
"sshhhhhshhhhaaaaaaaarrrrrrrk!" was great.

B+ it's alright. My first viewing was because double packed with Jaws 30th anniversary dvd I bought 2005.

They should have brought Shaw back as a ghost who guides Brody through the movie.

Certainly pales next to the original, which shares the mantle of my all-time favorite along with Casablanca. But it's miles ahead of the next two travesties in the franchise. 6.5/10
