This movie is going to be a mess or barely have anything to do with Joker or both. You were right about that. One of the most overrated movies in recent history. A good watch, but not revolutionary. And the Batman tie-ins were distracting and served no purpose other than to inflate the box office.

There’s no way that Joker is going to be Batman’s Joker without some proper instruction in mad genius villainy. |

There’s no way that Joker is going to be Batman’s Joker without some proper instruction in mad genius villainy. It doesn’t really matter, because the movie is supposed to be a one-off. Frankly, the inclusion of the Wayne’s death scene is the weakest part of the movie. At the very least, if they wanted to do show that, they should’ve gone the extra mile and had Bruce die as well.
