6/10 Decent nasty revenge film. However its one of the few times I like the remake better.

Graphic and violent. The rape scene(s) are fairly torturous. The revenge is sweet.
But like others i prefer the changes the remake took while still capturing the essence of the story. It turned the victim into a slasher that you rooted for.

I like revenge films, and I like the "revenge" in this one.
I'm pretty conflicted by the rape scene(s). Rape is a terrible crime and it is terrible to watch, but I feel they lingered on the act too long.

One of the worst films I've ever seen honestly. There's no writing, no entertainment value, and no reason for it to exist. I suppose it was going for shock value and maybe it was shocking at the time. Watching it now however, it's an old grind house film without the fun. I haven't seen the remake, but you could only go up from here. This is the lone film I've given a 1/10 to.

Roku Channel has a remake trilogy and I couldn't get through the first one.
If the older one is worse, then I'm glad I never saw it.
These aren't my kind of movies though.
