Or did they all just jump on the Cheatriots bandwagon in 2001? There's a Shady Brady fanboy named shadyvsesham who keeps claiming that the Patriots have more Super Bowl wins than the Cowboys. (This dumb Shady Brady fanboy also thinks that Phil Jackson is head coach of the Knicks.)
Not only do the Cowboys have 5 Super Bowl wins (only the Steelers have more) but also the Cowboys have the highest winning percentage among all NFL franchises. That's not the highest winning percentage for 1 year or 5 years or 10 years or 15 years or 20 years. That's the highest winning percentage for the entire history of the franchise among all NFL teams.
The only thing that Cheatriots fans can claim over the Cowboys is that the Cheatriots lost more Super Bowls than the Cowboys. But I've said this many times before: LOSING THE SUPER BOWL ISN'T SOMETHING TO BRAG ABOUT.
Losing the Super Bowl doesn't even mean that you're the 2nd-best team in the NFL; it only means that (like the other 31 teams) you're NOT the best team in the NFL. For example, the 1994 Chargers lost the Super Bowl to the 49ers, 49-26. But the Chargers weren't the 2nd-best team in the NFL. The 2nd-best team in the NFL in 1994 were the Cowboys, who were going for a 3-peat and lost to the 49ers in the NFC Championship Game, which was the real Super Bowl that year.
The reason that the Cowboys weren't in the Super Bowl that year was because they were on the same side of the bracket as the 49ers. Had the Cowboys been in the AFC, the Cowboys would've been in the Super Bowl that year. So losing in the Super Bowl isn't any more impressive than losing in a Conference Championship Game because you may have gotten to the Super Bowl just because you happen to be on the easier side of the bracket.

In your typical fashion you present a false argument and only tell half the story. You were arguing with Shady about the Cowboys 20 year NFL winning streak and it was simply pointed out to you that during that 20 year winning streak, the Cowboys only took home 2 SuperBowl trophys. The other 3 came outside of the winning streak. At no point was it ever claimed that the Patriots have more overall.
But they do have more SuperBowl appearances. I notice how you like to claim they "lost" more SuperBowls than the Cowboys to try to make being in the SuperBowl a negative thing if you don't win. This is back to you nonsense that losing in the NFC/AFC Championship is better than losing in the SuperBowl.

OMG another one...jesus christ.
My dad got me into football....back when we had a team....they are now the Ten. Titans, called the Houston Oilers. I remember Warren Moon choking in the playoffs. I remember being numb when we were up against Buffalo 32 points, and they came back to beat us. After that our city was done with the Oilers, and they went to Tennessee. They made a superbowl and imho was now the 2nd best superbowl of all time (Atl V NE is now the best. Comeback...overtime..amazing). One yard short...wow, just what a superbowl. I also remember Elway getting his titles. Ive been a fan for awhile.
*Facepalm* WOW...JUST WOW. You are just, do you lack reading comprehension? I was comparing NEs winning streak of 16 season to the Cowboys winning streak of 20 seasons. I said in NE 16 streak, they have cashed in 5 superbowls, and went to 7. During Dallas's 20 winning streak, 5 superbowls with 2 cashes. YES DALLAS has 5 super bowl wins, we were comparing NEs 16 winning seasons to Dallas's 20 winning seasons. Everyone else here seem to understand that but you, you seem to lack reading comprehension my Dallas fanboy friend. Jackson is the president of the Knicks, I said he is showing he cant run a franchise. Jesus dude, Im baffled how you cant read.
WHO CARES. People want the rings, the cashes, the titles. No one cares about,"wow, they have the most wins." Only fanboys care about that garbage.
Yes, youre right So again, lets COMPARE 16 WINNING SEASONS TO THE 20 WINNING SEASONs. OK just this little timeline. DO you understand, let me repeat it a few times so you can understand.
So again, lets COMPARE 16 WINNING SEASONS TO THE 20 WINNING SEASONs. Get it yet? So again, lets COMPARE 16 WINNING SEASONS TO THE 20 WINNING SEASONs. Ready? So again, lets COMPARE 16 WINNING SEASONS TO THE 20 WINNING SEASONs. Understand? So again, lets COMPARE 16 WINNING SEASONS TO THE 20 WINNING SEASONs. Got it? So again, lets COMPARE 16 WINNING SEASONS TO THE 20 WINNING SEASONs. Ok, lets go, but before we go So again, lets COMPARE 16 WINNING SEASONS TO THE 20 WINNING SEASONs. In the time span, 16 winning seasons, 7 superbowls, 5 cashes Dallas, in more winning seasons btw.....5 superbowls, 2 cashes So, what is more impressive.....5 cashes in less 16 winning seasons OR 20 winning seasons with 2 cashes. Lets do the math again 5 cashes in 16 years = Almost 3 a year. (We will get into the decimal thing) 2 cashes in 20 = 1 superbowl per 10 years. (I know, it was within 6...but again, doing the math....that's what it is)
No the superbowl was the 49ers Vs Chargers, no matter what you wanna say. And if that's how you feel, ok cool, so NE and Dallas now both been to the same amount of super bowls and Dallas has lost the same number of Super Bowls NE has, good good. What were you saying again?
Congrats, Dallas wasnt the best again.
And would have lost a super bowl to SF, and what did you say again?
Jesus let this go, you get embarrassed every time.

Its a fact that the Patriots have lost more Super Bowls than the Cowboys.
And losing the Super Bowl is a negative thing. If losing the Super Bowl is such a good thing, how come the losing team doesn't:
1. Pop open champagne and celebrate after they lose the Super Bowl?
2. Put on caps and T-shirts that say "We're #2!" after they lose the Super Bowl?
3. Have a parade where fans come to celebrate the Super Bowl loss?
If the Cowboys had played in the weak AFC, the Cowboys would've gone to plenty more Super Bowls. But since the Cowboys played in the NFC and the best teams were in the NFC (and thus the NFC Championship was the real Super Bowl for a decade and a half), the Cowboys ony went to 8 Super Bowls. But like I said before, LOSING THE SUPER BOWL ISN'T SOMETHING TO BRAG ABOUT.

Here is the same question you avoid at imdb and I'm sure you'll avoid the it here. What is better season? Losing in the NFL championship or winning the NFL Championship and losing in the SuperBowls? Are you saying the Packers had a better season than the Falcons. Oh wait, you want to make it about other conferences. Are you saying the Steelers had a better season than the Falcons? If the 2nd best season doesn't isn't always the SuperBowl loser, than why do they draft 31st every year? I know you said 2nd best team and not season, but I got news for you ace, the best team doesn't always win either, there have been numerous times that the better team loses, and not just in championship games, but any games. That's why the games are played and they don't just award the title to whoever the "better team" is.

What is better season? Losing in the NFL championship or winning the NFL Championship and losing in the SuperBowls? How can you win the NFL Championship and lose in the Super Bowl? Winning the NFL Championships is the same thing as winning the Super Bowl. Are you saying the Steelers had a better season than the Falcons? Neither had a better season. Was their goal at the beginning of the year to "lose the Super Bowl"? Do you think crooked Hillary's goal was to finish #2 in the Electoral College? Do you think crooked Hillary thinks that getting more electoral votes than Jill Stein, Gary Johnson, Colin Powell, John Kasich, Ron Paul, Bernie Sanders, Faith Spotted Eagle, and everyone except Donald Trump made her campaign a successful campaign?

It's obvious that was a typo and should have read NFC Championship. Maybe I should pull an Anne Hathaway fan and run and edit my post and pretend it never happened.
So then tell me why the NFL awards the Steelers a higher draft pick for having the worse season. By your logic, the SuperBowl winner should pick 32 and then the other 31 teams should be in a lottery with an equal number of chances to get the #1 pick.
You are trying to compare an election to a professional sports league? Wow, the queen of faulty analogies strikes again!

When the Soviet ice hockey team came to Lake Placid in 1980 for the Winter Olympics, do you think there goal was to win the Silver medal? Do you think those players on the Soviet team ever went back home and bragged to their neighbors and friends "We went to America for the Olympiscs and came back with a Silver medal"? Do you think Brezhnev declared those players national heroes for coming back from America with a silver medal? Only dumb Patriots fans think that losing a championship is something positive. LOL!!!

And for the record, I'm not much of a football fan. Baseball, yes. But sure, lots of people loved the Pats before 2001.
How about that Super Bowl this year, though?! Oh wait...you aren't a Patriots fan...

But you said the "real" superbowl the year 49ers beats Chargers in the actual super bowl (According to you, this wasnt the real super bowl) the actual super bowl was Dallas Vs. SF. Im just playing by the BS rules youre lying out. You made that claim, not me, not ctown, not msboston, not Klaw, you. We all knew the super bowl was SF Vs SD that year, but you said,"actual super bowl that year was SF Vs Dallas." Ok, so both went to 9 superbowls, and have won the same amount. You cant say that's the actual super bowl but dont like the out come of the argument. Now if you wanna admit Dallas was 3rd or 4th (Again, IDK who SD beat in their title game, but both made the "final four" and both would either be 3rd or 4th). Dont make nonsense claims and it wont be thrown in your face. Ahhh it is all coming to bite you in your rear end. Losing the superbowl is bad, right? Ok, so why in the living ding dongs do you brag about "Dallas had a 20 season winning streak" yay, and only 2 cashes! As well a 3 failed super bowls, so...in 20 winning seasons: twice they were first threee times they were second and 15 times they were 3rd or worse. WOW so impressive. This is like a Buffalo fan going,"No other team made 4 straight super bowls." WOW WELL BRAV-FN-O.. 4 super bowls, 0 wins. Ask anyone of the city of Buffalo...if Norwood would make that kick, give you guys a ring...BUT, those other 3 super bowls, youre not going, actually next 3 years you will go 8-8. Im pretty sure theyd take that deal. So Dallas has the "best winning percent" but somehow has been to less super bowls as NE and NE has the same amount of rings, and you brag about this? Good, so stfu about the Dallas 20 game season streak when they only cashed in twice. That's 18 seasons they made 2nd or worse. Because people celebrate the champ, it's still an accomplishment to make a super bowl. Same as 2 If Tom Brady scored 21 points in the 18-0 season, he'd went 19-0. If Lebron played in the Western conference he probably doesnt make NBA Finals year after year. Too bad, so sad. Youre such a Dallas fanboy it's laughable. I guess the Cowboys cant handle them Steelers, can they? HAHAHAHAHAAHA, ty for making this claim again thus proving my point from before. Again, Im using your logic. 2nd best Dallas....but you should be used to that

Jesus Dallas has only won two playoff games in the past 20 years. That is pathetic. In that same timespan New England has won five Super Bowls. There is seriously no comparison right now. Stop bringing up ancient history. Judging from your posts, I doubt you were even alive the last time Dallas was a competent football team.

Sadly, a lot of sports fans can be bandwagoners. I am from Houston, I ride and die with my Texans/Astros/Rockets. I also respect what great teams do. San Antonio...much respect. New England, much respect. Red Sox-Cubs, I got a heart, these fans waited forever to get a title, my heart went out to them. New Orleans wins a title for all that city went through, good for them. So lets take NFL, when my Texans are gone I have to find someone to cheer for. When it was Hou Vs NE, yea I wanted us to win. We didnt, so I said,"well I hope NE wins, at least we would lose to the champs."
Baseball isnt a sport? What!??!

OMG OMG OMG, SOMEONE AGREED WITH MY SILLY POV, YEA, EXCELLENT POST, TY FOR someone agreeing with me, let me smash up that thumbs button.
