Do you consider Richard Dawkins to be arrogant? He can't be arrogant. He's English.

Do you consider Richard Dawkins to be arrogant? He can't be arrogant. He's English. He is not proper English as he was not born in England.

To lefties he’s only arrogant when he criticises Islam or certain Muslims. When he scrutinises Christianity he’s a deep thinking genius who is as humble as they come.

Do you consider Richard Dawkins to be arrogant? Not particularly. But then I find people's response to Richard Dawkins to generally be quite odd. He's accused of being all sorts of things, but then I go and watch videos of him talking, sometimes at considerable length, and no matter how many I watch, I never, ever see him actually demonstrating any of those characteristics. It's like there's a body of people who just deliberately set out to misrepresent him for some reason.

truth can be a very bitter pill to swallow. especially to those who are enchanted by voodoos.
richard is no more arrogant than he is pompous or extreme.
he loves discussing facts and that can leave a gaping hole in those who propagate magic spirits as best friends.

No. But only because I don't pay much attention to him.

No. But only because I don't pay much attention to him. Exactly. The same here. I don't care about him or want to know what opinions he holds. I find it a amusing when two sides clash over whatever he says.

Not really, I know Christians/theists like to paint him as some in your face, big mean atheist, but if you actually listen to him he's rather quite soft spoken. I thought this was quite charming:
Someone like Hitchens is probably closer to what they're thinking of, though even he isn't quite the "foaming at the mouth" atheist they so desperatly want to call out and play the victim over. Someone like Dusty Smith is probably the closest to what they want to characterize Dawkins as and he's not even that popular anymore:

You can be mean and soft-spoken.
However, arrogance would be pretending to know more than the subject you are discussing or using limited knowledge of a subject and project it onto all subjects.
If Dawkins does that, then he is arrogant.

You'd probably be better looking to The Amazing Atheist for arrogance.

I LOVE your schtick! It is so unctuous and predictable. You use it all the time, on me, on others on here and now on Richard Dawkins. it goes like this... "If you have read the Bible 'properly' and you aren't a Christian, you haven't been reading it right".
