At long last I got round to reading The Haunting of Hill House a couple of years ago, and I was very disappointed. Couldn't even really get into it. Anyone else had the same reaction?

After 'hearing' Stephen King go on and on about it for years, I too finally read it, and while I was somewhat let down by it, I don't think I found it as inaccessible as you did......  SAVE FERRIS |
