Do you ever find that without warning they suddenly become uncomfortable to wear? I had mine adjusted a couple of weeks ago and they were, now for some reason they are pinching my nose. So annoying.

I take that as a sign I need to drink more water and blow my nose.

I have a mix... My reading glasses pinch my nose, but because I'm petite, every pair of sunglasses I seem to get are too big and slide down my nose.

I wear thick framed prescription glasses since I'm nearsighted. All I do is bend the ends until it sits firmly on my face. Haven't had a problem in the past few years.

I wear cheaters and sunglasses that don't have the pinchy thingies at the nose. I've tried but I have long hair and my hair gets caught in the nose bits and it tears my hair out. Plus, I've been in a few fights (martial arts) and have had my nose broken, and even with surgery, it's just either too crooked with the pinchy thingies, it hurts with the pinchy things, and it slides because my nose is crooked.
I opt for comfort of the all solid frames.

I only wear glasses for fashion purposes, the lenses are prescription-less. So whenever they start getting uncomfortable, I just take them off. But that never usually happens because I only wear them on certain days to match my outfit.

I mostly wear my contacts. I do hate when I lose weight it feel like my face has shrunk so my glasses start sliding.

I never get that, just the regular annoying tendency for the glasses to slide down my nose from time to time.

No. I actually don't even feel them on and I have them on all the time unless I sleep. I have Silhouette frames, which are just the arms and nose bridge and made from titanium, along with light-weight lenses. I've been getting them for years, and won't wear anything else.

I think the pinching of the nose occurs when the glasses don't quite fit and you constantly push them back up after they slide down. It use to happen to me all the time until I started buying my glasses online. What I found out is that when you go to an eye store the process in which you select glasses is backwards or limited. After your eye exam, most people select glasses which are on display based on how it looks. Then there is the "hit or miss" elimination of how it fits and of course how much it costs. If you know your exact prescription and your specific dimensions that you prefer, you can input that online and it will show you all the glasses available. It's like buying a custom suit vs. off the rack. It's so much better IMO. What I usually like to do is buy ones that are 1 size smaller than my preferences, that way they are snug when brand new, but slowly adjust to fit me right over time. It's similar to buying a brand new pair of dress shoes or boots that need to be broken in. I've bought many pair of glasses now that have lasted me several years. They never slide and I rarely have to adjust them.
