I won't miss him either to be honest. Cue that rabid pro-IRA nut job Saoradh coming here to mourn the passing of Mcguiness. This the poster who couldn't muster much sympathy for an 8 year old blown up by the IRA in Warrington.

There was a remembrance yesterday for the Warrington bomb victims, 24 years to the day. www.warrington-worldwide.co.uk/2017/03/17/remembering-the-warrington-bombing-24-years-on/

Not a fan of his either. If the media narrative of a man who gave up terrorism to forge peace were true I'd have a lot of respect for him. But the "peace" was taking part in a government with enshrined sectarianism, teaming up with an ultra-right party to keep his own party in power and paying lip service to left-wing values whilst pushing through every bit of austerity that came from the British government and leading the campaign for lowering corporation tax.
That's what I dislike about Sinn Fein, they're just hypocrites on every level: - If they were nationalists they wouldn't be getting into bed with the DUP and the Tories whilst undermining SDLP. - If they were socialists, they wouldn't be accepting austerity with only token resistance, they wouldn't be spreading slander about the genuine socialist parties and again they wouldn't be in bed with DUP and the Tories. They wouldn't be so uncritical of the EU as they are. They wouldn't be the head campaigners for lower corporation tax. - If they were truly for peace, they wouldn't avail of every us vs them tactic prior to elections and they wouldn't be putting contentious former terrorists in cushy positions. - If they were truly liberals, they wouldn't team up with one of the most ultra-conservative parties in the UK against the other parties.
But hey that warmonger Tony Blair has just said Martin McGuiness was a champion of peace so what do I know.

Ireland lost a true patriot today. I will never forget the time I met him at a Derry GAA match.

We would not be where we are today if Sinn Fein didnt hold their noses and work with the DUP. 3) What slander? 4)Are you seriously suggesting they werent socialists? At worst they are socialists who put aside their principles for stability in the north. 5) What us vs them tactics? That's the DUP.

No it's not you disgusting piece of shit Here's a link to a thread from the original RFS board: The IRA debateUsing the name Carmb09 you repeatedly defended the IRA and the Warrington bombers in particular. Here's some of your posts from that thread: So don't pretend to be something you're not you nasty little shit bag. Most of us remember you from the original RFS board. You're a terrorist supporting pedophile who deserves to have his fucking balls chopped of and flushed down the toilet.

I'm surprised you aren't branding Martin McGuiness a traitor to the cause for giving up the armed struggle. Doesn't dragging oneself out of the 1970s warrant the death penalty as far as you terrorist supporters who remain stuck there are concerned?

The use of violence for political aims. Even if you think the IRA were justified at the time, appointing Mary Travers as a SPAD is hardly the way to move on from the conflict. And where are we today exactly? After years of doing very little the assembly has now fallen apart and we're in political limbo. Coming our way is either another term of Arlene Foster as First Minister or Theresa May ruling directly. While Sinn Fein demand a border poll which is unlikely to succeed and wouldn't fix matters greatly either. How about: www.sinnfein.ie/contents/43322www.peoplebeforeprofit.ie/2016/10/gerry-carroll-and-eamonn-mccann-respond-to-sinn-fein-claim-they-sided-with-tories/www.socialistworld.net/doc/7195What stability? Sinn Fein's master plan is to make NI beholden to multinational corporations by cutting corporation tax and the same time it's enforcing austerity. There's such a thing as putting socialism aside but it's quite another to be enacting completely anti-socialist positions. They're not as bad as DUP (but hey, who is?) But this is a pretty blatant example:
