I am surprised that a football (soccer) league is divided in conferences. May be an American tradition. But still think a 20 team league should not be divided in conferences.

MLS is divided into two conferences because it uses a playoff format. Same thing for Mexico's Liga MX although they spit the year into 2 seasons. Playoff formats are also used in other Latin American leagues as well. Even in Australia. MLS currently has 23 teams and it will expand to 24 next year. Other expansion teams for Nashville will more likely come in 2020 and Miami is still up in the air.

Dude should have shot that ball, and not with pace, even just to let the time keep going. Pathetic.

Why was the goalkeeper forward when it was 2-2?

The MLS is where formerly great European players go to die. Except for Zlatan, apparently.
