Anybody check out the new CBS sitcom Superior Donuts? I recently got caught up with all the new episodes, and so far I'm really enjoying it. Some give it a hard time because it uses the multi-cam studio set up, but for me that works. The series is based on a play by Tracy Letts, so the muti-Cam studio set up helps it stay close to its roots. Some of the jokes consist of your typical tired multi-cam shtick, but I find most plots to be pretty topical (in a good way) and the cast to be strong. The show is good for a couple of laughs and it has a good throwback feel to it without feeling dated.

Watched 5 minutes of it and that was 5 minutes too long.

Judd Hirsch is good, but most of the rest of the cast pretty bad.

It's such a standard fill-in-the-blanks sitcom, it has literally nothing to recommend it. I only hope it dies a quick death, so Sagal and Hirsch can move on quickly to projects that can make better use of their talents.

I kind of like it and I have no idea why. With that being said, I'm not going to cry if it is canceled.

I halfway paid attention to the first episode. Haven't watched any after that.

As with 2 Broke Girls, there is a lot of talent on screen that the material never lives up to.
Though the writing on Superior Donuts is a thousand times better than there.
