KNIFE IN THE WATER may also qualify as a nautical movie.

YOUNG ADAM (2003) - most of it takes place on a barge. Dreary movie, and inland waterways do not count as "nautical". Had you not supported me as to Dolly Parton's assets I would report you to the guy who started this thread.

If we have now sunk to offshore port-hopping we should include:
The Last of Sheila (1973) dir: Herbert Ross
Assorted characters go on a yacht trip and some come to grief. I don't think there is significant marine action as most of the action takes place onshore, but Mother Nature has been merciful and erased most memories of this movie from my mind so I could be wrong.

Three Men in a Boat (1956) BAT is being deliberately provocative here but, being the good-natured guy I am, I shall turn the other cheek. I have never seen the film, but the book had our class in stitches at school.

I have never seen the film, but the book had our class in hysterics at school. One man's "deliberately provocative" is another's "expand the theme". You might like the movie since there are no noticeable 'Muricans in it (that I can recall, so watch it at your own risk).

I guess I am one of the few who enjoyed: Sure, it isn't historically accurate, but I still thought it was a very good Submarine/War film, with a great score by Richard Marvin.
