Actually, animation is more popular than ever. The big mainstream films were setting box office records, at least before the pandemic killed theaters. More adult watch animated series and anime is also more popular than ever. It's a force to be reckoned with! A force to be reckoned with. That's fabulous, that's rich. Modern animation is made by such dorks, such boring spineless PC lightweights. Now, if you said "South Park" circa 1999... Otherwise it was amusing. There's always Bill Plympton if you're okay with watching risque content. Personally I think that his earlier work before Idiots and Angels is better but I don't know what would appeal to you. The film SHe is pretty ambitious for a film made in China, or anywhere for that matter, but it's a little too strange for most people. If you wanted to watch it it's available on Amazon Prime. I doubt it but the reason I'm bringing it up is to show that there are real visionaries who are willing to break the PC mould. I couldn't find a trailer so here's a review: SHe review

That's OK, I don't mind. There's something sweet about TutuAnimationPrincess. Something illusory. And though, she can post about animation, and she can converse about likes and dislikes, and maybe she can even sense that our accounts are somewhat comparable.. I simply am not there. Aboyes, how thought-provoking.

However, from my few posts in this topic I think it's obvious what things are about in this particular "conversation".

Hey, look. Bryce is back and he's in a remake: www.youtube.com/watch?v=rHvZsmbprbcHe's a changed man, except he still can't avoid the cops to save his life. Why don't we just try the Peter Weir original?
