Say of the Triffids
A remake of the original giving the invaders speaking parts. It apparently never made it off the cutting floor, and it's rumoured that what Howard Duff said about it is unprintable.

Operation Petty Cost
Remake of the Cary Grant submarine classic. This time the sub is red not pink. The producers were too mean to supply white paint. False economy tho'. Another one which ended up on the cutting room floor and no further.

Shitty Shitty Bang Bang
In this musical comedy sequel, Caractacus Potts (once again played by Dick Van Dyke) deals with the heartbreak of Crohn's Disease. Not understanding his condition, Truly Scrumptious leaves him, yet again driving her car into the duck pond, and his children have been conveniently written out of this sequel by attending a boarding school in Switzerland. Most of the film centers on Potts' attempts at developing a viable treatment, and Potts has many solo numbers which detail his thought processes.
Van Dyke undertook this project in an attempt to revive his flagging film career after the failure of The Runner Stumbles. As with that film, critics and audiences universally panned this film, and it was a financial disaster for Van Dyke, who personally funded the production.
Roger Ebert put it best: "Mr. Van Dyke grossly overestimates the willingness of the public to watch a comedic film about the serious topic of Crohn's Disease, and the ham-fisted attempts at humor and dance numbers are so utterly disgusting, that the brief appearances of Jerry, Barry, and Shane (in his first film appearance at age two) are a welcome respite, despite their underwhelming performances."
Van Dyke was so ashamed of the film that he had all copies destroyed, and none of his official biographical materials make any mention of this travesty of American film.
