In the metal community, Turbo by Judas Priest.

In the metal community, Turbo by Judas Priest. Very possible, but I think St. Anger and Risk give it some stiff competition.

I think whatever it was that made people love Metallica died with Cliff Burton. I didn’t think he was anything special on bass but that’s where it all changed. AJFA was a good album but sounded like it was produced by deaf monkeys. Other than a random song here and there Metallica hasn’t done anything worthwhile from the Black album on. So you could pick anything from that period for your question and I couldn’t argue with you. Turbo just felt like more of a betrayal. The ultimate metal gods put out an album that could be the soundtrack to Beverly Hills Cop. At least they atoned for it with Painkiller.

I tried to listen to it again recently; I really did try. No, still garbage apart from the title track.
