I liked the synth film scores of the 1980's, especially Tangerine Dream's scores

I love everything mentioned above. Would add Brad Feidel's score to "The Terminator." "T-2"'s was good too, but the first was bang on.
A couple other standouts are "Nightmare on Elm Street", "Blade Runner", and some of the "Stranger Things" series' music.
