The Force Awakens. Despite its flaws, it was fun, enjoyable, and did indeed possess that Star Wars spirit that drew fans to the franchise. TLJ, while interesting in some places, was a cringe-worthy mess.
Also it's astonishing to see the difference in RT scores:
Clearly something very off about the latter.

3/10 - Force Awakens is an unoriginal and uncreative best-hits rehash with fanfic level writing. This rushed hack job of a script sports countless plot holes, lore inconsistencies and the film even abandons it's A storyline; some of the cinematography is ugly too (especially the monochrome lighting and lens flares).
6/10 - Last Jedi tries to be more original by substituting repetition by subversion, but ending up in perversion too often. The creativity is lacking like in TFA but the cinematography is gorgeous (what's new here regarding art design, music or world building?).
