I have never believed in Santa
When i was born my parents where members of Jehovah's Witnesses and left it when i was 11 and i did not celebrate Christmas until i was 11. And buy than i was to old to believe in Santa. So i have never stopped believing in Santa as i never started to believe in Santa.

Honestly before I was in Kindergarten I thought it just sounded like a story. Not realistic.

Twelve years old when I caught my mother putting Santa's gift in his usual spot.
I was actually starting to have my doubts a little earlier in life. It didn't make a lick of sense how some fat guy on a sled with flying reindeer could make his way around the world in one night. Plus, we had no chimney, so how was he getting in through locked doors and windows?
I didn't care nor did I say anything for a while because...free gifts! Of course, my parents eventually figured I knew but the amount of what I received didn't change until after I turned eighteen.

I was 12 when the teacher brought it up in class.
I had a friend who found out when his father came in his bedroom to put the presents at the end of the bed, and stepped on the plate of cookies left for Santa. LMAO.

I can't remember exactly, But I do recall that Mother was surprised that I continued to believe a lot longer than most other kids. It was probably happened in my early teens... I go with "12" for my answer.
It all ended, when I wondered why there were two different "Santa Claus" signatures on the gift tags, which just happened to match my parents hand writing... My Mom has great penmanship, And My Dad has always had unreadable scribbles.
Keep that in mind, future parents! LOL!

It didn't make a lick of sense how some fat guy on a sled with flying reindeer could make his way around the world in one night. Plus, we had no chimney, so how was he getting in through locked doors and windows? You just didn't think hard enough about it... 1.) TIME ZONES. There are 24 of them. Santa Claus probably has in reality, something like: 36 hours, to work with.
2.) How do we really know how fast he can fly, or how fast he can move?
Maybe his sleigh can travel faster than light or can time travel, and maybe Santa Claus himself is a speedster like The Flash or Superman...
Remember, The Flash needs to eat a lot and eat more often than the rest of us do... Plenty of Snacks and Drinks to keep him going over those 36 hours!
3.) He has all kinds of Magic and Technology at his disposal... Maybe he has a Star Trek like transporter on board his sleigh, and he can beam down the presents, and beam up the cookies and milk...

I could not vote in the poll because this is one lie my parents never told me. I never believed in Santa Claus.

I don't remember exactly, but somewhere between 6 and 8. Around the same time I realized pro wrestling was scripted.

I had my doubts and suspicions for a while, but they were finally confirmed by my father when I was about 6.
That was a huge relief to me.
As a result, I told my own son from the word go the truth of the matter. He was fine with it, because he knew he could trust me to buy the toys he really wanted.

I don't think I ever *really* believed in it, but it was something I *wanted* to believe. One year, I must've been 4-5, our neighbor dressed up as Santa and came to our house. Now, we never did the picture with Santa at the mall or tell Santa what you want for Christmas, etc., there was none of that, so to actually see him in person, my mom caught a picture of it and my eyes were SO wide when he came in the door. And as soon as he left, I said 'maybe it was _____' our neighbor, and everybody said no, no no, he had to go to work, but I knew.

Probably around 8. No one told me but it wasn't hard to figure seeing as I was given a certain amount to spend selecting gifts for myself out of Sears and JC Penny catalogues.

I think I was 12 when I got confirmation. I went investigating and saw the presents in the back of my dad's van. Before that I was kind of a Santa agnostic. Friends and pop culture (ie Gremlins) told me he didn't exist, but...how could my parents lie to me?
