As an old school IMDb Soapboxer I was surprised when I discovered this board on v2 just the other day. The Soapbox here is half dead because of the exile of Frank and his band. But this is a great little GD board.
I have my own forum on another site of course. And I was responsible for v2's LGBT board. But I'm impressed. This place competes well with Hive/Exiles, Monkey's and the others.

Recently found this place as well. I think it is a bit different from the original soapbox. This board is more diverse and has people of different kinds as compared to soapbox. People on this board talk about greater range of things than people of soapbox did. Less talk of sex here  . Also, unlike soapbox, posters here are not a part of community. One would post here and move to post on another board. This board isn't that special for posters here as original soapbox was for soapboxers. |

You know my site is a troll hangout and sometimes I just want a calmer place to post. |

I hope you will be here too in the long run even if you have a board of your own. This place has a great set up. My forum is a different kinda place. I liked The Hive because I needed a respite from the craziness. But I'm rediscovering the benefits of v2 again. Yeah, I've argued often over the years with smug Western atheists who bash Christianity and then claim Buddhism is somehow not as superstitious as Christianity. |
