Prince. The only Bruce Springsteen song I’ve heard that I really like is the song he wrote for Philadelphia.

Dang, that's like comparing lennon to jagger . Because they're so different.

Prince, and frankly it's not that close.

I like both, but no contest for me. I'm a much bigger Prince fan . . . even though my "signature" here is from a Springsteen tune--but it suggests that I would be more of a Prince fan.

I can respect Bruce for his tireless performance style, but his actual music leaves me cold...Prince all the way...

Springsteen, for his live shows alone. No bells, no whistles, no lasers, no explosions, no inflatable animals. Just music. And I'm like another poster. Prince's music never fired me up a lot.

I gotta go with Bruce, but with the disclaimer that I'm not very familiar with Prince's output.

So I've started out on Prince's early albums. When does the good music start? I'm kidding, it's not bad.

So I've started out on Prince's early albums. When does the good music start? I'm kidding, it's not bad. These are the musts in the Prince Canon: Dirty Mind Controversy 1999 Purple Rain Around the world in a day Parade Sign of the Times A really incredible run... Intermediate studies: The Black Album Come Emancipation The Gold Experience Diamonds and Pearls 'Prince' For You If you get past those with interest, there are good tracks to be found in the remaining albums...Lovesexy, Love Symbol, Batman, Graffiti Bridge etc....After 1996, it's gets spottier, thoguh..

Prince is in my top 3 least favorite artists.
The other 2 are BB King and, Marvin Gaye.

Prince.
You're talking about music, right? If it's arm wrestling I'll have to change my vote to Springsteen.

Can't stand Springsteen. He's too emotionally over the top for me. BAWN IN THE YOO ESS AYAYAY!!! Ick.
Prince's songs are a little overrated. But Prince blows me away as a performer. He was a great guitarist, does he even get enough credit for that?
