For me:
The Stuff (1985)
The Munchies (1987)
The Legend of Billie Jean (1985)
Gleaming the Cube (1989)
The Blob (1988)
Troll (1986)
Short Circuit (1986)
So many great, crappy horror films from that decade. I could go on and on.

Teen Wolf Killer Klowns From Outer Space UHF Monster Squad The Wraith What’s bad about UHF? That movie was hilarious. There's nothing 'bad' about it as far as I'm concerned. It's a cheaply done comedy with barely any script. It's a bunch of goofy ideas thrown into a blender, I love it. Still, it's not considered an all time classic as far as I know. I listed 5 films from the 1980s that by any artistic metric are generally not regarded well, but I love them all the same.

Taking this to mean not well liked by mainstream critics, or well known to general audiences, how about:

Deadly Prey is terrible but funny.
BulletProof with Gary Busey is another. "Your worst nightmare, butthorn."

Annihilator (1986) Really cool ripoff of the Terminator. Unsold tv pilot.

The one who called classic film Flesh+Blood, and great films Q and Humanoids From the Deep, the one who said they were 'craptastic' must be listening to crackheads too much. No sober person ever called those "crap".
An interesting one I've see here is "The Island". I think that qualifies. Overall, it isn't a good film, but there are some excellent bits in it. Particularly, the crazy pirate who pretends to be a defense attorney for Michael Caine. He's great, and his role in the film makes it two notches better than it normally would be.
