Terminator Salvation did give us that future world, and it wasn't as awesome as we imagined.

I thought Genysis was better than part 3. Salvation was easily the worst. I know III has the female Terminator - can't remember a single thing about it beyond that. Bale's rant was 1000x more entertaining than Salvation Only watched CinemaSins' takedown of Genisys and couldn't even finish that, the movie is so awful. I am not interested in any sequels or reboots. They've worn out the franchise as it is. It's deader than dead.

Arnold Schwarzenegger says he’s not finished making “Terminator” movies. Speaking with Fandango he said: “I’m looking forward to doing another Terminator movie, yes.” Then asked about the reports that the franchise was over, he responded:
“I don’t want to call it, like, fake news, like the president calls it, but I think people just write things – I have no idea why. Just because Paramount doesn’t want to pick up the Terminator franchise, you have 15 other studios willing to do it – that doesn’t mean the Terminator franchise is finished, right?
It just means they are on their way to negotiate with another studio, but I can’t give you the details of that. They’ll announce that. But, yes, the Terminator franchise is never finished. And remember that after 2018, James Cameron is getting it back, and then it will continue on!”
Skydance CEO David Ellison recently said the franchise has ‘an incredibly bright future’ and teased an announcement coming later this year.

I suspect godawful Terminator sequels will keep getting made till Arnold is in a wheelchair, and then more will be made with him in a wheelchair.

I just hope they learn from their mistake that was Genisys.

^^^ Please don't insult my intelligence. You know damn well I know what the story and purpose of the first two. No need to get your panties in a twist and get so worked up. I thought we were just having a casual conversation, sharing each others' view points. Geez!

I wish they could stop making new installments. The premise of Skynet still trying to win the war is played out.

Won't they make up their damn minds already? They keep going back in time and changing it!

I can't imagine why anyone would be interested in this after three failed sequels. They are never going to duplicate the quality of the first two. I don't even think Cameron can do that at this point.
