She posted an article on Instagram about a boy who picked out a Wonder Woman backpack and tiara as his outfit of choice for school... Then she goes on to say boys should be encouraged to play with Barbies and be in touch with their feminine side. It just goes on and on about how boys are limited to browns, blues, and black etc...
Why is our society trying to push transgenderism? I don't care what someone's sexuality is, but until you hit puberty and make those choices for yourself, that's on you.
I just don't understand the agenda?

Honestly I agree with her, so OCD this society is. To hell with homophobia.

What if it was a girl buying a Batman backpack? Would anyone care so much? What difference does it make?

What if it was a girl buying a Batman backpack? Would anyone care so much? What difference does it make? That's not the issue. Neither is homophobia. The issue is that you are setting these kids up to be bullied.
You can't stop kids from being mean. You can't change society. No matter how much you tell people "A boy wearing a dress is normal" They don't believe it.
So if you're dressing a 7 year old up in a pink dress and a tiara, sending him off to school, you're setting him up to be bullied and picked on. Then when he kills himself at age 15, that's partially your fault.
When he hits 14 or 15, and then wants do wear and do those things, that's fine. HE made that choice, HE can live with the consequences.
But a parent allowing this is just setting their kid up for kids to bully them. I know, I work with kids. You can say all day, "Kids need to be tolerate of others" lol... good luck. 1 teacher and 20+ students, they can't put out all the fires.

Not sure how a Wonder Woman backpack and a Barbie doll equates to transgenderism.

I understand your concern. And I get that your query comes from a place of concern.
Personally I would try to "course correct" my child (that's an awful term, but I think you know what I mean) by explaining in a way they could understand. If my child continued the behavior then I would just have to accept that I might have a gay child, and I would try to help them through that.
But even though my first instinct would be to "course correct", if my hetero child came to me and said that a classmate of his/hers was wearing gender opposite clothes I would try to make my kid understand that there's nothing "wrong" with the cross dressing child.
So I guess I'm still on the fence about HOW to handle that when its a young child we're talking about.

You can teach a boy to kick a bully's ass while wearing his dress.

The easiest answer to all this is not to give a damn what a celebrity thinks. I’ve found myself much more contented that way. Also (and I’m saying this as a rather conservative kind of guy), what she re-Tweeted seems remarkably inoffensive—and in no way, moreover, indicative of so-called “transgenderism,” unless the kid was purposely set up by the parents for the sake of politics or 15 min. of fame.

Kids will bully other kids anyway.
They sent me to school with glasses on, I got bullied. No one worried about it.
They sent me to school with the wrong hockey team on my lunch box, I got bullied. No one tried to stop me from leaving the house that way.
Gay kids will still get bullied or teased whether the wear a Wonder Woman tiara or not. But at least they'll get to do so.
Wonder Woman was a hit TV show when I was a kid but boys had to buy The Dukes of Hazzard merchandise instead.

To me that's just a smart business woman, she's connected to everything Wonder Woman, so if you got both genders buying your merchandise that's more money for you. I would do the same thing.

I'm taking OP's presentation of her statement as true, so I'll just say boys should not be expressly encouraged to play with feminine things. They should be encouraged to play with whatever THEY want to play with, whether it's typically masculine or feminine stuff. Same with girls. But some parents go to an extreme in trying to remove gender from their kid completely.

Oh.
Is that all?
I was expecting it to be a tweet about Jewish/Israeli superiority, or something.
