Rothes FC were well and truly put in their place tonight by last season's champions Cove Rangers, who handed out a 4-0 thrashing at Rothes.

Good news for the "whipping boys", Fort William, who after two 11-1 defeats managed a credible 0-6 result away to Huntly. FW's record now reads. played 3, won 0, drawn 0, lost 3, GF 2, GA 28=GD -26. They only have 33 more games to play and could set some kind of record with a GD of -200 and change.
