I am wondering why they can`t create original female characters instead of just giving them old male characters. Which is what they are doing.
Its like they are telling actresses you are not worthy of original characters.

A reboot of Gilligan's Island where all the dumb characters are white except for the smart ones such as the women and the professor who will be Asian, black, East Indian and hispanic.
The Brady Bunch.
A black family except for the maid who will still be white.
A spaghetti western called: The Good, The Cute and The Hot Chick.

Instead of one chick holding court at the diner table giving her interpretation of a song, they will all be chatting and gossiping at once about everything. And then when one of them doesn't tip, she gets away with it because you don't argue with a woman about that. |

Well we would absolutely be getting a female Back to the Future, no doubt about it. Thankfully though Zemeckis and Gale aren't letting anything like that happen.

I'm not sure why anyone would want a remake with the exact same parameters.
Not that I care about remakes but why have a Ghostbusters with white male leads pantomiming the originals.
There would need to be a different hook to it and I had no problem with that hook being women.
It's silly to get upset about stuff like that. Why not simply let the outrage be not attending it?
I get it for historical stuff I guess. I don't want to see DiCaprio playing Malcolm X anytime soon.
