Just one match missed for any potential new candidate. Hope to see 1 or two more people in the game. Man C & Liv are the teams everyone agrees on it seems.
I think the winner of this contest will have something like 200 points at the end of the season. 10/10 in a week may happen once only. or may be not.

I hope one or two more still joins.
I think percentage of draw matches are somewhere around 20% so if draw is worth only 1 point then we should use less of that and go more for Home victories more. This format may prove tricky.

Both scoring systems have their own advantages and disadvantages. The current one might let people to go for more obvious choices and the other one may encourage speculation (which can be good or bad). The first one may disadvantage the people who go for draws and later one may advantage the more speculative posters while hurting those who go for correct choices.

Caesium137 Would you like to join this game. We will be glad to have a new member. Last year we had great fun and this year it's even simpler format. Just predict Home/Draw/Away for each EPL game and not even scoreline. You can even predict scores for 2 weeks in advance if you take time out from this site for 10-15 days during the EPL season.
If you both like this game then we will be glad if you joined us. It could become very interesting and keep you interested in EPL.
Sorry chaps, going to sit this out - enjoyed last season but it reminded me why I stopped doing fantasy football a few years ago, i.e. having yourself hoping that Man U, or Chelsea say, get a result just for the sake of points! Just going to enjoy hoping they get pummeled every week this season 😀 Cheers guys!

It's why I wasn't going to be doing The Predictor this season (doesn't matter now as there isn't one) This tourney is less pressure, though, I think.

staggerstag Thanks Stags! I think no one has objected to my proposed rule and probably Fury, you, eggwhiteomlette and Weststigersbob agree with me. So I guess you can allocate 5 points to Cobalt for the first week and it is good that we now have one more participant. I hope more people join. Hope mangekyoalleluia joins us too.
