Catman, being a simple cat, prefers a phone that is a close to being just a phone as possible.

I have never had one and never will own one. I need a cell phone like I need another hole in my head...

Smartphone.
I do actually have a need for apps depending on the circumstances, i.e. Lyft for rides instead of cabs, solitaire when extremely bored, and texting to receive notifications.
Oh yeah, and a call blocker for those pesky telemarketers.

Smartphone that I only got last year - didn't really need one, still don't, but having the internet on it is marginally useful.

I wouldn't say I use it regularly, but I own a 3G mobile phone.
It was the cheapest and simplest one available.
It does the job.

I have never had one and never will own one. I need a cell phone like I need another hole in my head... In general, I agreed with that approach for a very long time.
However, as I live in rural South Australia, it often comes in handy if the power goes off or I'm a long way from other people or landlines.

The wording of this thread title leads me to believe that many people have more than one cell phone, which unless you have one special one for work in a high powered job I understand. All the other schlubs who are just regular Joes, dint understand your ego.
In any event, smart phone with standard bells and whistles.

I have never had one and never will own one. I need a cell phone like I need another hole in my head... I wanna know more, please, its interesting. 1. are u not being pressures into it by family/ friends? 2. do u spend most of your time inside? 3. if u travel do u not use some device to procide you with some mobile/ on the go entertainment? 4. what is the rationale behind not wanting it. Privacy, freedom? If so, do u use any special precautions when u use a computer? (like against tracking etc)

There's stuff that it's difficult to do now if you don't have a smartphone. One example is getting into sporting events. Some teams have gone to smartphone entry only. Another example is getting an Uber. So you'd end up having to pay more for rides to /from the airport, for example.

Have Never Had One. Actively avoid having one. Waste of time and an endless source of rudeness.
