Great analysis as always by DC-Fan, despite being virtually a given. There is no single Marvel character even in the same stratosphere as the Man of Steel in terms of cultural import or all-time significance in any context. Clark is and will always be THE guy. All of it is about him. Every other modern superhero comic premise is, "like Superman, except..." And they always will be, no matter what. ETA: the only distant second and third in the same tier would be Batman and Wonder Woman. That's IT.

Of course Captain America has a logo. It's one of the most well known amongst the superheroes. But nowhere close to being as well-known worldwide as the Superman logo. So the edge still goes to Superman.

Well, clearly you're jealous that Evan's Captain America is the Christopher Reeves Superman of our time.

For whatever reason I just read the title as "Captain America and Superman Sex tape" To misquote Brodie Bruce in Mallrats: Do you think his colon could handle the sperm? I guarantee you he blows a load like a shotgun right through his back.

a-venge - inflict harm in return for (an injury or wrong done to oneself or another). So avenge is a synonym for revenge. No, it's not. Assuming English isn't your first language, allow me to explain. The word avenge is a verb. To avenge means to punish a wrongdoing with the intent of seeing justice done. The word revenge is a noun (though it can be used as a verb as well). Revenge is a personal thing which does not concern itself with justice.

So avenge is a synonym for revenge. No, it's not. Assuming English isn't your first language, allow me to explain. Actually, it is. Assuming you have Microsoft Word, allow me to explain: 1. Open a new blank document. 2. Type the word "avenge". 3. Click the Review menu. 4. Click Thesaurus. It'll show "revenge" as a synonym for "avenge". And vice versa: 1. Open a new blank document. 2. Type the word "revenge". 3. Click the Review menu. 4. Click Thesaurus. It'll show "avenge" as a synonym for "revenge". So basically, "avenge" is a synonym for "revenge". So Cap's team is all about getting vengeance or revenge and not justice.
