I love a mutt, because they tend to be healthier than their pedigree brethren. In fact, I don't think I'll ever own another pedigree again after what I'm going through with my Eskimo. That said, there are some breeds I just love.
Huskies/Malamutes. I love their look, and their hard working nature. I love the way they howl. My neighbors have two white ones, and they're amazing. You need property to own one of them though, and they need A LOT of exercise.
One breed I might consider getting in the future is a Blood Hound. I'd love to have a certified man tracker that could help find missing people. They're also very gentle and great with kids.
Pugs are so fun! My other dog is half pug/dachsund. They have so many health problems though, I wouldn't own a pure bred, though I love them!
Shih Tzus look like ewoks when they're groomed!
