I generally like Tabby cats best. My nieces have a part Siamese polydactyl cat. I can always hear him coming because his little claws click on the wooden floor.

As beautiful as Siamese cats are they can get annoying. A former neighbour had a friendly Siamese that would come visit. It'd meow at the door to get in and once in it'd meow to get back out. You gotta love the sound of meowing to have those around.

Oh God. I fucking love cats. I've had as 8 cats (not counting newborn kittens) with 2 dogs in a one room apartment.
Maine Coon, Siamese, Calico, Russian Blue, Tabby and other breeds I'm too lazy to look up right now.

Domestic Shorthair but I've recently been very interested in Bombays. I have a thing for black cats.

She looks a lot like my mother's cat (the kitty above).

Maine Coons and Turkish Vans
I've had a couple of both over the years and they also seemed unusually smart to me, with the Maine Coons being moodier though sometimes more affectionate, and the Turkish Vans tending to be comically mischievous--sometimes to the extent of seeming to "set up" other cats I've had in order to basically play practical jokes on them.

I adopted an all black kitten from my vet and she seems to have a lot of Bombay qualities from what I was reading about them. Although I tend to doubt she is only because I saw what her brothers and sister looked like since they were up for adoption as well. The brothers were gray and white and her sister was black with a little patch of white fur on her chest.
